The Desert Homestead is a tranquil and unfussy lodge near Sossusvlei. Guests will be met by their pilot at the Windhoek airport from where they fly north towards Etosha National Park, Transfer to the lodge for the evening, PM game drive included … if time permits (or AM of Day 3), Etosha is one of Africa’s great game parks. With 114 species of mammal and 340 species of birds you are sure to see a great variety of wildlife on your safari. AM and PM game drives into the Etosha National Park and/or on Onguma Reserve … entry fees included, fly to Damaraland, the Twyfelfontein area, Damaraland features vast khaki plains, sheer Rocky Mountains and incredible desert-adapted wildlife. Explore the rugged land or sit back and enjoy the dramatic scenery, AM and PM activities include a visit to Namibia’s “open air museum’, the Twyfelfontein petroglyphs and bushman paintings, Burnt Mountain as well as the interesting Organ Pipes rock formations.
