Day 1 SIEM REAP ARRIVAL
Upon arrival, welcome by the local guide at Siem Reap airport and check-in at the hotel. Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom,
a huge architectural complex with the famous Bayon Temple at its centre. This mountain-temple was once surrounded by 54
towers. On each of the 37 remaining, four enigmatic faces can still be recognized. Then, explore Baphuon, which was fully
restored by a team of French archaeologists after 16 years of work. Later, discover the natural essence of Cambodia by visiting a
handicraft centre.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2 SIEM REAP
After breakfast, visit the National Museum to discover the history of the famous Khmer Empire and Angkor; ideal to start a
journey to the heart of an ancient civilization with exceptional heritage. Then depart by car for the Preah Khan Temple, which
was probably the royal residence during the construction of Angkor Thom. It was built at the time by Jayavarman VII during the
second half of the 12th century. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat (early-mid 12th century) dedicated
to the Hindu god Vishnu. This magnificent temple-mountain, built by King Suryavarman II is considered as the masterpiece of the
Khmer architecture and art. Late in the afternoon, visit a local artist’s studio.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Note: If the visit falls on a Buddhist religious day (about 4 or 5 days per month), the visit of Angkor Wat should be postponed to
another day in order to visit its third floor.

Day 3 SIEM REAP–KBAL SPEAN–BANTEAY SREI–SIEM REAP
After breakfast, drive to Kbal Spean, the “River of a Thousand Lingas”, located about 50 km north of Siem Reap. Upon arrival,
walk through the forest (45 minutes) and explore the river where the bedrocks are engraved with Apsaras and countless symbols
of the god Shiva. It was believed that the linga fertilized the water that irrigated the rice fields underneath. Lunch at local
restaurant. In the afternoon, drive through to the famous Bantey Srey Temple the “Citadel of Women”. This small pink sandstone
temple (late 10th century) is considered to be a jewel in the crown of classical Khmer art because of its delicate carvings. Then,
return to Siem Reap through the Cambodian countryside and stop at a centre of the golden silk production to learn about this
ancient craft, followed by the visit of the marvellously restored Bantey Samré Temple.

Day 4 SIEM REAP
After breakfast, it is your time to explore beautiful Siem Reap and surrounding areas or just relax at the hotel

DAY 5 SIEM REAP/DANANG – HOI AN
After breakfast, visit the twin temples of Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda, the unfinished temple-mountain of Ta Keo, the holy
water basin of Srah Srang, and the Banteay Kdei monastery. Finally, discover the fascinating Ta Phrom Temple, probably one of
the most famous monuments with Angkor Wat and the Bayon. This former monastery is still surrounded by the jungle. Depending
on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport for the flight to Danang. Upon arrival, welcome by the local guide then transfer to
hotel in Hoi An for check-in.

Day 6 HOI AN – MY SON – HOI AN
In the morning depart to the inland for a hike in the surrounding hills of My Son, a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined
Hindu temples constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa, a once powerful Hindu empire.
The trail begins with a climb off the beaten track to reach a road along the ridge overlooking an artificial lake. This second part
of hiking offers stunning views of the countryside. By late morning, arrive at the archaeological site of My Son. Explore this
ancient capital city of the Kingdom of Champa a World Heritage site by UNESCO. The archaeological site, which has twenty
monuments that are more or less well preserved and buried in the verdant valley, dominated by Mount Quap the Hon. After the
visit, transfer to the port town of Hoi An, ancient Chinese and Japanese trade’s counter at the seventeenth century. Late lunch
at a local restaurant in Hoi An. After the lunch, a stroll through the picturesque streets of the old town Hoi An.

Day 7 HOI AN: COUNTRYSIDE AND RUSTIC LIFE
After breakfast, depart by bicycle toward a small village in the Vietnamese countryside just a few kilometres from Hoi An. Upon
arrival, visitors will discover the ancient gardening tradition of the village – their products are known throughout the region. The
visit begins with an introduction to various agricultural activities with the farmers, and continues with the preparation of lunch
with the host family. This will be followed by a tasting of local specialties such as “banh xeo” (Vietnamese pancake), bringing
together all the flavours of Tra Que. After lunch, return back by bicycle to hotel and time is at leisure.

Day 8 HOI AN–DANANG–HUÉ
After breakfast, depart towards Hué, the ancient Imperial capital via Hai Van Pass, located on a mountainous road with great
views of the coast. On the way, visit the Cham Archaeological Museum with an extremely rich collection, tracing the history of
this lost civilization. Arrival for lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore Hué, the ancient capital of Vietnam under the
Nguyen Dynasty. Discover the Imperial City, the former imperial seat of government. This is a great sprawling complex of temples,
pavilions, moats, walls, gates, shops, museums and galleries, featuring art and costumes from various periods of Vietnamese
history. Then visit the Thien Mu (Celestial Lady) Pagoda, one of the most venerated sites in the city of Hué.
Overnight in Hué.

Day 9 HUÉ DEPARTURE
After breakfast, time is at leisure at hotel. Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to Hué’s airport for the departure flight.

Day 1: Nairobi/Mara –Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our driver guide and departs to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is commonly known for ‘big five.’ It’s about eight hours to get there via Narok the only Maasai town in the Rift Valley. Day 3: Mara/Nakuru -After breakfast check out and drive into the Great Rift Valley. At far distance will see the Longonot Mountain that have a crater at the top. Arrive Nakuru in late afternoon and have time to check in the hotel. Lake Naivasha and Nakuru are UN World heritage sites. Dinner and overnight stay at the Top Cliff Lodge.

Day 4: Nakuru – After morning breakfast then proceeds to the lake Nakuru where you have the chance to see the thousands of pink flamingos, pelicans, ducks, fish eagles, king fisher and herons. There are also animals such as white rhinos, zebras, monkeys, giraffes, water-bucks and warthogs. Dinner and overnight stay at the Top Cliff Lodge.

Day 5: Nakuru/Mt Kenya – After morning breakfast check out and drive towards Nanyuki. On the way pass through the popular Equator which is an imaginary line that divides world in two and it’s a good site for photo taking. Later proceed to Nanyuki town at the foot of Mt Kenya. Day 6: Mt Kenya – After breakfast, spend the whole day in Mt Kenya Sweetwaters looking for the elephants, buffaloes, leopards, colubus monkeys and lions. Birds such as eagles, sunbirds and hawks can be found. A visit to the chimpanzees is very exciting. If the weather is good enough will view Mt Kenya. Dinner and overnight stay at the Sportsman Arms hotel.

Day 7: Mt Kenya/Aberdares – After breakfast check out and drive towards central Kenya highlands where you enjoy fascinating sights of Mt. Kenya (2nd tallest mountain in Africa) and also Aberdares ranges. Arrive in time for lunch, and in the afternoon visit the Solio ranch which is popular with antelopes, zebras, buffaloes and rhinos. Day 8: Aberdares/Nairobi – After breakfast proceeds to Nairobi as you enjoy beautiful sights of coffee, bananas and pineapple plantations. Day One: Entebbe
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Safari Chapter representative who will then transfer you to Entebbe for overnight at Gately Inn Entebbe (BB) Gately Inn Entebbe (the extension of Gately on Nile Jinja) has been tastefully designed and built with great passion, by the owner herself, keeping only one thing in mind – the customer’s comfort and satisfaction. Day Two: Kibale Forest National Park.
This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Kibale Forest National Park by road. Drive is about 5 hours. This park is home to some 13 species of primates including the red colobus, chimpanzee and L’Hoest’s monkeys as well as 70 mammal species.
Overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (LDB) Chimpanzee Forest Guesthouse was formerly a residence of the British district commissioner in the 1950s, during Uganda’s colonial period, and was innovated turned it to a Guest House in 2003, it has been wonderfully cared for and maintained ever since. Guests can relax in a comfortably furnished lounge which features an excellent collection of colonial African literature dating back to the 1800s. It offers accommodation in beautifully furnished self-contained cottages (Bandas) with a panoramic view of kibale Forest National park and the surrounding Tea plantations. We also offer accommodation in a large ancient colonial house, which was formerly a home to the British commissioner in the 1950’s .It is well furnished with two self-contained rooms in a colonial setting with beautiful views of Kibale national park, Tea plantation and the Crater Lake. Enjoy hot showers in western style bathrooms. Or, camp on flat grassy sites away from the house with shade and seclusion.

Day Three: Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will go for Chimpanzee tracking along the network of forest trails. Seeing habituated chimps squabbling and swinging from the trees is an exhilarating experience. Later in the afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, which is rich in bird species, vegetation, and wildlife. This is also a great opportunity to support local tourism initiatives which benefit social and economic development in the area.
Optional Activities:
1. Crater Lakes Hike: Formed by ancient volcanic activity, the crater lakes of Uganda are located near Fort Portal, and are a great hiking option. Typical hikes take you through local villages and tea plantations, to the base of several of these incredibly serene and beautiful lakes. With the Rwenzori Mountains in the background, this is by far one of Uganda’s most peaceful and extraordinary sights.

Day Four: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (~3Hrs), through volcanic crater lakes, and on a clear day one can see the famous “Mountains of the Moon”, The Rwenzori Mountains. This park which boasts one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world and also Uganda’s second largest National Park, the 1,978 sq km has everything from open savannah to rain forest. Queen Elizabeth has over 100 mammal species, and an astounding 606 bird species, making it a premier safari destination. Have a game drive while entering the park and later go for another evening game drive and overnight at your lodge.

The lodge is perched on the edge of the escarpment adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Its exclusive position, affords it some of the most spectacular views. It can accommodate up to twenty guests in eight spacious grass-thatched cottages. The cottages have been designed with a feel of the contemporary African culture in mind, a perfect blend of design and comfort with an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and a hot shower and spacious tub. Each cottage has a private shaded veranda with spectacular
views of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kazinga Channel, Lakes George and Edward and the Rwenzori Mountain Ranges.

Day Five: Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Enjoy morning game drive in the Queen Elizabeth National Park whose diverse ecosystems include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands, that make it the ideal habitat for classic big game, primates and over 600 species of birds.
Set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori Mountains, the park’s magnificent vistas include dozens of enormous craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills and the panoramic views of the Kazinga Channel. Return for Lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, 32 Kms long followed by a game drive. This water system has the highest concentration of Hippos in the world and you will get quite close to them. See also crocodiles, buffalos and other game that drink from the channel, also marvel at the abundant ornitho-life that is supported here.

Day Six: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Today you will continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for two nights passing via Ishasha in search of the tree climbing lions. Bwindi is a home to over half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Interacting with these gentle giants is one of the most moving experiences that Africa has to offer and should not be missed! The ancient
rainforest of Bwindi spans 321 sq km and boasts 90 mammal species, including a range of primates, as well as 23 Albertine Rift endemic bird species, including the African Green Broadbill, the Bar Tailed Trogon and many others. Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (LDB)
Ichumbi derived from the local Rufumbira dialect means ‘ a cool, comfortable home ‘. The lodging facility that is just 10 minutes’ walk to Rushaga gate of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, has a spectacular view of the park right from your room! It is designed to provide you with high end comfort and relaxation to be able to enjoy your Gorilla tracking experience, go birding watching and enjoy forest life surrounded by impressive landscape.

Day Seven: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Today after an energizing breakfast, you will embark on your gorilla trek. Before 8 am report to the ranger station for registration and briefing by one of the rangers; the guides will then lead you through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas.
The trek can take anywhere from half an hour to 7 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking boots. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas – sadly enough there are only about 650 of these beautiful creatures left.
You are allowed exactly one hour with the gorillas before returning to the base station.
Overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (LDB)
If time permits, there are additional activities, unique to Bwindi, which you can engage in for the afternoon. These include the Batwa community trail, community visits or waterfall hike

Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi
After your breakfast, you will start off your journey to Lake Bunyonyi found in Kabale which is the second deepest lake in Africa and a great place for birders. You will be welcomed by the sweet sounds of the birds, the word Bunyonyi means small birds in the local language. Upon arrival, you will go for a canoe trip on the lake where you will be able to see various birds, communities, landforms such as the islands (around 29 islands are in the lake). Later in the afternoon, you may choose to either relax at the lodge or go for a nature walk through the Batwa and Abaheesi communities.
Overnight at Arcadia Cottages – Bunyonyi (LDB)

Day Nine: Lake Mburo National Park.
The adventure continues as you spend one night at Lake Mburo National Park. The 371 sq km park is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains and has distinctly different fauna compared to other Ugandan parks. It is the best place in the country to see Eland Antelope, Zebra, Topi, Impala, and Acacia. The five lakes within the park attract hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, while fringing swamps hide black and yellow papyrus gonalek. Arriving in the park for lunch you can rest before exploring the park on game drive for the rest of the afternoon.
Optional Activities:
1. Horseback Riding Safaris: What better way to explore the park than on horseback! Horseback riding safaris are available for various times and are suitable for all levels of riders including the non-experienced.
2. Boat Safari: Take a cruise along Lake Mburo which is home to dense populations of hippos and crocodiles.
Overnight at Rwakobo Rock (LDB) Rwakobo Rock is a peaceful and secluded retreat where you can breathe in the essence of wild Uganda. The 8 comfortable and spacious cottages are dotted around the hill, all very private and offering great sunset views. The main dining area overlooks an expanse of rock that adjoins the park. Set in the pristine Ankole ranchlands surrounding Lake Mburo National Park; whether you want to sit back, sip on an ice-cold drink in a hammock or head out into Lake Mburo National Park for a day of exciting exploration, there is something for everyone here.

Day Ten: Transfer to Entebbe.
This morning you will have breakfast and then proceed to Entebbe having lunch enroute. You will stop at the Equator-where you will be able to stand in both hemispheres simultaneously arriving in Entebbe in the afternoon and later catch your evening flight back home.

Day 1: Nairobi – Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport will be picked by our driver guide and after introductions, driven to the Giraffe Centre where you can feed giraffes with hands. Day 2: Nairobi/Mombasa – After an early breakfast drive towards Mombasa, the Kenyan Coast that is very popular with the world class sunny sandy beaches and journey takes about 9 hours.
